WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website or use a web-based application. Cookies help websites remember information about your visit - such as your login session, preferences, or how you navigated the site. They are widely used to make websites and platforms work more efficiently and to provide useful information to the site owner. Cookies cannot access other files on your device, carry viruses, or contain executable code.
